Celebrate Summer in all its glorious beauty by spending the day in the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Located in Glencoe, Illinois, its world-renowned plant collections and displays make it one of the country's most-visited public gardens. The 385 acre Garden features 24 display gardens, the Malott Japanese Garden and Shoin House, and four natural areas uniquely situated on nine islands surrounded by lakes.

Enjoy the Grand Tour aboard the narrated tram followed by a lavish luncheon buffet. Later you'll have time to explore on your own and visit the Garden Shop and Visitor Center. No need to fight traffic, dread high fuel prices, or pay for parking. What a delightful way to spend a summer day!

Departure from Alverno College Lot H (just off 39 & Ohio) Bus leaves promptly at 9:00 AM - Arrive 10 minutes ahead. Return to Alverno campus at 4:00 PM.
