Visit the Anne Frank Haus, Van Gogh Museum, and enjoy the view of Amsterdam's unique narrow houses from a boat on the Amstel River Canal. Stay three nights in the quaint market town of Haarlem. See the famous Flower Auction, colorful tulip fields, Kinderdijk's windmills, and traditional Volendam by the sea. Three overnights in Haarlem just minutes away.

Churches burnished with age, NATO headquarters, fine lace, beautiful tapestries, world-famous chocolates, waffles, and charming cafes await you in Belgium. Visit Brussels with its magnificent Cathedral of Our Lady, its Grand Place - one of Europe's most ornate public squares, and its little Mannekin-Pis. Three overnights in the heart of Brugge with its picturesque canals.

Maastricht, exuberant, friendly and historic (its history goes back 2000 years), is built around its most famous square - Vrijthof Square. Nearby is Selexyz Dominicanen: one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world. The treaty on the European Union was signed in Maastricht in 1992 and led to the creation of the single European currency the Euro. Visit Aachen in nearby Germany. Once the seat of Charlemagne's imperial palace in AD 768 and the place of his burial in 814, its hot springs drew pilgrims to Aachen as a spiritual and cultural center. Ancient Roman legionnaires established a military bath here in the 1st century AD. When it was part of France and known as Aix La Chappelle, Josephine Bonaparte was among many aristocrats who came for its healing waters. This is one of the great small cities of Europe.
