From the moment you pass through the Biltmorešs iron gates the thought leaps into your mind: what would it be like to live here? Join us for an enchanting Candlelight Christmas tour of George & Edith Vanderbiltšs home as it might have looked when they lived here: lots of candlelight, dozens of decorated trees, miles of garland, and festive music throughout the house. Enjoy a holiday dinner at the Deer Park Restaurant on the Biltmore Estate and a daytime Grounds Pass to return the following day to see what was missed including the conservatory, gardens, winery, and Biltmore Village shops.
Visit the Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway, home of the Southern Highland Craft Guild representing craft artists from Southern Appalachia. Plenty of free time to explore the quaint shops and galleries in Black Mountain as well as downtown Ashevillešs restaurants and shops. An included lunch in midtown Atlanta gives us a chance to see a little bit of the city before our return flight. Fly Milwaukeešs own Midwest Airlines non-stop to Atlanta. Travel in comfort aboard our private motorcoach to Asheville and throughout the trip.
Located just minutes from the Biltmore Estate, our accommodations include non-smoking rooms, enhanced continental breakfast each morning, fresh baked cookies and coffee each afternoon, indoor pool, whirlpool, and fitness room.
